Mr. Perry's 6th grade students recently wrapped up a month-long creative writing project, where they wrote their own short stories and transformed them into digital books.
Last week, they had the opportunity to share their hard work with Mrs. Klein’s 2nd grade class by reading their stories aloud. It was wonderful to see our older students serving as reading role models while proudly presenting the books they created from start to finish.
Great job, 6th graders, on your creativity, dedication, and willingness to share your work with others!

To celebrate May the 4th, Mrs. Gustafson’s 8th Grade ELA classes created safe hide outs for Luke and Leia. They had to use the engineering cycle of planning, designing, creating, testing, and improving, which allowed them to work together collaboratively, using classroom materials. When they were done, they wrote about their process and showcased their bases for their class. #learningcanbefun

Last week our 8th graders met up with their 6th grade pen pals and gave them a tour of the Jr./Sr. High School! Over the past two weeks, the classes have been writing letters, asking questions, sharing advice, and getting to know each other.
When they finally met face-to-face, the 6th graders were able to see their buddy’s locker, become familiar with the hallways, and spend some time hanging out together over snacks. It was a great opportunity to help ease nerves, build connections, and make the transition to next year a little more exciting. 💙🤍 #uknighted

Congratulations to Carter Cazzola on completing the Construction Connect U.P. Program! 👏🔨
On Friday, May 8, Carter was drafted into the Northern Midwest Carpenters Union, where he will begin his apprenticeship training. Carter is also the first Norway student to successfully complete and graduate from the program!
Construction Connect U.P. is an “earn and learn” program designed for students interested in skilled trades careers. Students apply during their junior year and, as seniors, rotate through multiple trades to gain hands-on experience and exposure to different career paths. The program creates a direct pathway into skilled trades apprenticeships while providing valuable real-world experience.
We are proud of Carter and excited to see all he accomplishes in the future. Congratulations! 🎉 #uknighted
